FIRST IMPRESSION SERIES

Series of nine, individual, 10x10x2" pieces. Each consists of fabrics that are dyed, painted and photocopied upon then machine-appliqued, quilted and mounted on wooden stretchers like a painting. Found objects are then glued and/or sewn onto the pieces. They can be hung in any combination or configuration. This series was bought by a corporation and was hung on a curved wall. (36 x 36 x 2") 1996.
